How It Works
Choose an Image.
Notice What Stands Out.
A single image is enough to begin. The recipient can keep the reflection private or share only what feels comfortable.
01
Choose an Image
Look through the pictures and choose one that draws attention. There is no correct image to select.
02
Notice the Details
Describe what is visible before deciding what it might mean. A guidance card can offer a starting question.
Choose → Notice → Connect → Decide
Remember
An image does not have to mean the same thing twice.
A Closer Look
One Picture.
More Than One Meaning.
See how an image card differs from a guidance card, then explore one way to arrange a small reflection.
Inside the Journal
The Image Stays Open.
The Guidance Stays Separate.
The front of an image card holds the artwork without a fixed emotion label. Its numbered reverse helps the recipient find that picture again.
The separate guidance cards offer prompts that can be used across different images. They invite observation and personal connection rather than prescribing an interpretation.
“Which part of this image feels familiar today?”
Now · Support · Next
Three Images,
A Little More Perspective.
One approach is to choose an image for the present moment, one for a source of support and one for a possible next step. The folding mat gives the selection a simple shape.
The recipient may describe the images, make a note in their own notebook or leave them as a private visual reflection. There is no need to reach a conclusion.
Begin with what is visible in the image.
Let the viewer decide what feels relevant.
Choose one small support action, if it helps.
Giving This Gift
For Feelings That
Have Not Found Words.
Offer it to a friend, family member or partner who appreciates art, nature or a quieter way to reflect. The gift can be a way to offer attention without asking for an explanation.
Let the recipient choose how to use it. A picture can be something to look at, a private point of reflection or a beginning for a conversation.
“These made me think of you. I hope there’s an image here that gives you a little room — no explanation needed.”
A personal message the giver could add
Art to linger over. Meaning they can make their own.
Do the pictures have fixed meanings?
No. The image fronts do not carry fixed emotion labels. What a viewer notices and connects with is personal, and can change from one day to another.
What is included in the set?
The set contains 36 original image cards, eight general guidance cards and a three-position folding paper mat, kept together in the illustrated box.
Must three cards be chosen every time?
No. A single image is a valid starting point. The Now, Support and Next arrangement is one optional way to use the mat.
Does the recipient have to share their reflection?
No. They can look at an image, reflect privately or choose to share. Writing and speaking are optional.
Is the notebook shown in the photographs included?
No. The personal notebook, pen and styling objects are shown as examples of use. The included paper pieces are listed in What’s Inside.
Can the cards be used in a group?
They can provide an image-led starting point for a creative activity or conversation. Each participant should choose whether to contribute and what to share, without having someone else assign meaning to their image.
Are these therapy or diagnostic cards?
No. They are art cards for reflection and expression. They do not diagnose emotions or conditions and are not a substitute for professional care.
